Each year, the members of People First of Nebraska honor self-advocates and the people who support us with awards. These awards will be are presented at the PFN Awards Banquet on the evening of Saturday, October 15.

* Nominate people you think deserve to be recognized for their hard work and advocacy

* Any People First member can nominate someone

* You or your chapter may nominate more than one person for an award

* You do NOT have to nominate someone for every award

Nominations are due by September 10, 2024

The Ray Loomis Self-Advocate of the Year

This award goes to a Person with a Disability who has who has been a strong advocate for themselves and for other people who experience disability.

The Sharon Howe Volunteer of the Year

This award goes to a person who has volunteered their time to support People First and people with disabilities. This can be a person with a disability or someone else.

This award goes to a paid professional that supports and advocates for People First and people with disabilities. They may or may not be a person with a disability.

This award goes to the People First chapter that has done the most to advocate for themselves and for People First in the community.
